My name is Vickie and I live in St Saviours with my husband and our 2 dogs, I have 15 years of experience working with children and am qualified in level 3 childcare and education from birth to 18 years.

I have worked in many early settings such as nurseries, autism jersey and the JCCT.

Most recently I have worked with children who have life limiting and complex additional needs at family nursing and home care, whilst this was a challenging roll is was incredibly rewarding.

I am passionate about giving children the opportunity to learn and explore their environment through play, in my home I offer a range of fun filled and educational activities to ensure children have a supportive and fun environment to thrive in.

In my home I encourage messy play and give children the time to really get to know their interests, children are encouraged to have fun and learn new skills.
We will have lots of outings to keep us busy and to further extend the environment for learning and play opportunities, we are very lucky in Jersey and will take full advantage of all our wonderful play groups and natural surroundings as well as visiting the heritage sites and zoo.

We are a smoke free home but are pet friendly, we have 2 well behaved dogs who will have their own room when your children are being cared for in my home. There is a secure outside area that we are able to use but is not private, however during the daytime hours this is free from visitors. We are able to use this space for outside play, messy play and for planting in the spring.

I offer healthy meals and snacks throughout the day should your child need them will encourage your child to help in preparing food as they get older.
