Hello! I’m Kate, and together with my husband, our two little girls, and our cat, Beans, we offer a loving and nurturing environment for your child. Our home is filled with warmth, laughter, and a whole lot of fun, where each child in my care is supported and encouraged to thrive. We also have two guinea pigs, Potato and Salad.

In my setting, play is at the heart of everything we do. I take a child-led approach, allowing children the space, time, and freedom to explore their own interests and passions. Whether it’s messy play indoors, creative activities in our large, enclosed garden, or outdoor adventures in the local community, we ensure that each day is packed with opportunities to learn and grow. Our garden is a haven with a trampoline and a playframe, where children can be as active as they like. And we’re always out exploring Jersey’s many wonderful spots—rain or shine!

We are a family who loves to bake, and there’s usually something delicious being prepared in the kitchen, ready for the end of the day. I believe in providing healthy, homemade meals and snacks made with fresh ingredients to ensure your little one is fueled and ready for all their adventures.

I’m fully qualified as a registered childminder, I hold an up-to-date Pediatric First Aid certificate from St. John’s Ambulance I’m always seeking new ways to learn and stay up to date with best practices.

Our home is smoke-free, and while we have pets, I ensure that they are well-behaved and that your child is always safe. If you feel that our home would be a good fit for your family, I would love to hear from you!
