Edina Kageni

Hi, my name is Edina, I’m originally from Kenya. I am mum of two lovely boys, and I live with my partner and our boys. We are a non-smoking household without pets.

In my setting, I offer a warm, safe and caring environment. I have offer a child led approach where we play to meet their needs and lead by example where necessary. I also give children space and time to explore their interest and discover their abilities.

With me, your child will enjoy doing arts and crafts, singing and dancing, puzzles, reading books, messy play such as play dough, painting etc which offer lots of fun and learning opportunity.

I have a wide range of age appropriate toys and books which I rotate regularly to support children’s play, interests, developmental needs and ensure their time with me is fun, interesting and relaxing. We enjoy going for walks ,outings to the parks, playgroups, zoo, beach and various fun places around the island.

I am insured, have up-to-date DBS check and hold a clean driving license. I have all the relevant and up-to-date qualifications as per the requirements of registration which include, First Aid, safeguarding, food hygiene, toilet training, car seat safety and fire safety and maintain a continuous professional development.

I am available Monday to Friday all year round/ flexible hours.
